As I'm sure you appreciate, crucial to suppliers getting involved in your wonderful projects, is our ability to plan for upcoming tenders and as such, it is always very helpful if we know which projects are coming outto tender and when (doesnt have to be perfectly accurate, as we know things do change). It would be great if we could establish a single point of contact to get accurate tender timetable from. Kindly advice.."

Does Norway use or follow FIDIC or other type of contractual models?

We do not use FIDIC standards. Our standard similar to FIDIC is NS 8407 for design and build contracts. For more information, please see www.standard.no

What is the contract language and functioning language please? I.e. either English or Norwegian, but necessarily both?

Norwegian is the contract language, but you can use English in your daily communication (oral).
All the tender process will be conducted in English and Norwegian?

Yes, but not all our documents are translated to English.
Is this method will be applied also for the E39 Herdal – Røyskår project? or it is excluded?

It will be applied for the E39 Herdal – Røyskår project.
Best value contract means not the lowest price correct? Are these projects E6, E18, E39 design & build projects or built only ? "

All our contracts are design and build.
Who are the eligible countries for tenders?

We have not set any limit yet - so basically all countries.
Regarding E39 Rogfast Tunnel, when is the plan to start the project tendering?

E39 Rogfast Tunnel is not our project. Please ask Statens vegvesen.

What is the tolerance regarding any deviation from NV target prices?

The prices should be within the limit of the client budjet price or clients max price.
Do we buy the materials from Nye Veier or can we choose our supplier as the contractor?

This is design and build contracts where you choose your own suppliers - and materials.
Will threre be measures towards the currency unstability of Norwegian Krone e.g. contract in the currency of Euros?

We use NOK in our contracts.
You said that 4 out of 5 project will be subjected to the new model you mentioned. Which project will not be subjected to the new model?

E6 Kvænangsfjellet will not be subjected to the new model.
Nye Veier & Statens Vegvesen are two different clients for roads in Norway ? and if they are, then how does the Government define which project belongs to Nye Veier and Statens Vegvesen ? what is the definition of each client's strategic areas of roads ?

Yes, we are two different clients. The government decide our portfolio of projects.
What is the time frame for reference projects (how old can they be)?

Opened for traffic prior to the qualification submission deadline, and a maximum of 10 years back in time.
Will there be any separate contracts for advisors/consults as well?

Yes

Will the Advisor / Consultant for the Zoning Plan (DG 2-3) be permitted to Tender with a Contractor for the D&B Contract (DG 3-8)?

Yes, if the advisers work on the zoning plan has been finished before the tender for D&B are announced.
Please clarify-advisor is consultant working with you to take the project to a stage before launch for D&B tender process?

Yes, the adviser will make the zoning plan together with us.
Are there no tunnels on the two E18 stretches?

Correct, there are no tunnels on the mentioned E18 stretches.

Regarding to bridges present in different projects, do Nye Veier has any prefference on the constructive solutions? I mean build them in concrete, steel, mixed solutions... in order to achieve Nye Veier economical or environmental standards. Or is it all in contractor's hands?"

If it is not regulated in the zoning plan or the tender documents, it is up to you as a contracter to deside.
