How we conduct our tenders

• Qualification expand_more

  Interested tenderers must submit their application for eligibility to participate in the announced competitions. The application must be submitted in our Contest implementation tool (KGV) within the deadline stated in the announcement.

  Eligibility requirements:

  1. Should requirement to be eligible for the tender phase

   

  • Relevant construction and engineering reference projects
  • Legally established company with no outstanding tax or VAT debt.
  • Certification according to ISO 9001, 14001 og 45001 or an equivalent quality assurance standard
  • Solid finances in relation to the individual competition

   

  1. Should-requirements: evaluation of the 3-5 reference projects for selection to be invited to the tender phase
  • Relevance in relation to the individual project

• Proposal expand_more

  The proposal from the tenderer is limited to 29 pages, divided by the following criteria:

  • Execution
    • Handling critical activities
    • Goal achievement
  • Cost optimization
  • Tender amount

  The price offers are placed between the upper and lower limits of the Client’s preset reference price. The upper and lower limit will not be disclosed to the tenderers. In the negotiations the tenderers will be informed if the price offer is above the upper limit.

  Nye Veier uses a public procurement procedure that allows negotiations. The Client will negotiate with the tenderers on all sides of the proposal.

  After the negotiations the tenderers are invited to submit a final proposal that will be subject to a final evaluation. The selected tenderer will be awarded the contract.

  Contracting is preceded by an optimization- and preparation phase. In the optimization phase Nye Veier and the awarded vendor shall optimize the project based on the proposed cost optimization presented in the vendors proposal. In the preparation phase the vendor shall document to the Client that he is ready to start the execution phase.

  At the end of this phase, the parties sign a contract with a fixed price for the contract work.

  The execution phase starts, and the project is completed in accordance with the signed contract.
