Nye Veier is building 86 km four-lane motorway from Kolomoen to Øyer in Innlandet county. The purpose of the project is to provide increased traffic safety, better traffic liquidation and to stimulate growth and development in inland. The road project links the municipalities in the Mjøs region with almost 200000 inhabitants. The first part of the project is 12 kilometres from the Kolomoen to Kåterud south of Hamar has been opened. Kåterud – Moelv opens in 2020. The Moelv project-Lillehammer – Øyer is being planned. Nye Veier has also got responsible for the routes E6 Øyer – Otta (90 km) and E16 Kløfta – Kongsvinger (60 km).
